Distribusion Technologies Partners with Railways Company of Slovakia to Bolster Central and Eastern European Growth

The leading railway passenger operator in Slovakia is now live and available via Distribusion's channels.
BERLIN, January 2025 - Distribusion Technologies, the global leader in ground transportation technology headquartered in Berlin, Germany is proud to announce our partnership with Železničná spoločnosť Slovensko (ZSSK), state-owned railway passenger operator in Slovakia.
Distribusion expands their rail footprint in Central and Eastern Europe, finalising the integration of ZSSK´s API. Their full inventory is available via our Distribusion B2B API, Online Booking Engine, Agency Counter and Distribusion OSDM connector.
Founded in 2005, ZSSK serves 705 stations across Slovakia, including popular domestic routes such as Bratislava-Košice and connects to international destinations, Bratislava-Vienna, Bratislava-Prague, Bratislava-Budapest and Bratislava-Berlin. ZSSK transported 71 million passengers in 2023 (up 6.87%), ending with 7.05% domestic growth and 4.66% international growth. On average, ZSSK dispatched 1730 trains per day in 2024.
Distribusion's industry leading tech tools, such as our fast, feature-rich API, will power ZSSK's connection to our partners and the global travel market. Retailers will have access to ZSSK's best fares with full price parity, as well as the full list of services, including regular, express, commuter, and night train service.
